Mumford & Sons Event Poster

Kutztown University is holding an event where students can come hear the band speak on mental health and later perform live on campus. Mumford & Sons is a folk rock band that recently came out with their fourth album ‘Delta’. In this album, the band describes their difficulties they face in life with what they refer to as the four D’s – Death, Divorce, Drugs, and Depression. The band emphasizes the importance of finding the light in the darkness of life through their lyrics and melodies. The design of this poster replicates this idea with the use of hand done typography and illuminating illustrations. Using bright typographic illustrations in a dark sky background mimics the message Mumford & Sons shares through this new album.
